In terms of consumption, tellurium is widely used in solar energy and temperature difference refrigeration. Solar energy accounts for 40%, temperature difference refrigeration accounts for 33%.

Tellurium has a bright future in the direction of solar energy, according to First Solor data, 2.6 GW in 2018, 5.4 GW in 2019, and 7.6GW in 2020.

Tellurium is also used in the direction of refrigerating sheet. At present, there are more than 10 enterprises, and the annual consumption of tellurium is about 150 to 160 tons.

For tellurium, first of all, it is necessary to develop production, the development of production has two aspects, one is quantity, the other is only quality. Secondly, to develop consumption, at present, building materials in Chongqing also has a glass production line, we need to vigorously develop the consumer side. In addition, the market needs to build a trading platform for production and sales.

He suggested that, first of all, it is necessary to improve production technology-to reduce production costs and improve product quality, because the quality of products will be improved, the quality of downstream terminals will also be enhanced; Secondly, we should increase the capacity for development and utilization, such as establishing national scientific research institutions and encouraging private enterprises to set up scientific research institutions, and then develop mature and fully covered trading platforms to ensure that the platform is fair, just, strong and serves the global industry.
